Google adsense in SMF Forums

I was struggling to put google ads in my website forums, and found a few links and topics on other sites to help me with this, but they all involved altering html or php code on my theme and although this worked on the topic writers theme it didn't on mine and I was struggling.  Mostly it just ended breaking the look of the site

However the ads were important as Google Adsense money from click through helps pay for my server hosting along with paypal donations.
