This book by Ted Landau is a problem solving guide describing numerous problems and their solutions. It covers both hardware and software and is comprehensive, yet inexperienced Mac users can understand it. Peachpit Press publishes it.

Written by Robin Williams, these are excellent guides to producing professional-looking documents on the Mac. They are available from Peachpit Press.
