“URLs with the file type “file:” are not supported.” This error message is common with the new installation of Lion but is easily explained and fixed: It is occurring because of the Apple backupd daemon for Time Machine to fix it: Connect/plug-in and designate a different external HD as Backup volume. Then plugged in the original disc (its best tested on a different mac first) The mac with OSX Lion should recognise it and the erro message will no longer come up.

We recommend turning off all the things goggle does to check what you are doing and sending back any info to google, this speeds Chrome up even more.
